The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"Three things that I swear to be true are that
a man's property does not become less on account of (giving) charity; that
when a man is wronged and bears it patiently, God will give him greater honor
on that account; and that when
a man (begs without dire need), God opens for him a door toward poverty."
